Pre-formed rigid former tray ensures a consistent 1:50 fall to the waste outlet, eliminating pooling and water puddles.

3. 100% Solid-Bed Trowelling

Back-buttering and notched trowel technique ensures complete adhesive coverage with zero hollow pockets underneath tiles.

Is a wet room completely waterproof?
Yes. We install an impenetrable elastomeric tanking membrane across the entire floor and all walls up to ceiling height, sealed with reinforced waterproof tape at all junction corners before laying tiles.
What tiles are safest for wet room floors?
We recommend porcelain tiles with an R11 anti-slip rating or textured mosaic sheets. Mosaics provide extra grout lines that naturally enhance foot grip and conform perfectly to floor falls.
Can a wet room be installed on a timber floor?
Yes. We reinforce timber joists to eliminate deflection, install a rigid pre-formed former tray flush with the floorboards, and overlay with waterproof backer boards prior to tanking.
